Accessibility statement
Our commitment to making How To Stop The Bailiffs accessible to everyone, and how to tell us about a problem.
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities and people using assistive technology.
What we do
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:
- text you can resize up to 200% without losing content
- good colour contrast and no information shown by colour alone
- a site you can use with a keyboard only, with visible focus indicators and a “skip to main content” link
- clear headings and labelled form fields that work with screen readers
- plain English, with legal terms explained
- no time limits on our enquiry form
Known issues
We test the site regularly. If we find parts that don’t meet the standard, we’ll list them here with a date for fixing them.
Tell us about a problem
If you have difficulty using any part of this website, or need information in a different format, email hello@howtostopthebailiffs.co.uk. Tell us the page address and what the problem is, and we’ll get back to you within 5 working days.
If you’d find it easier to speak to someone about your debts, the free debt advice services we list offer phone and face-to-face help.
